Made it out to Clark on Sunday morning. Water's still cold but a couple walleye came in, nothing huge. Marks on the screen all over the deeper humps but they weren't all biting. Bass guys were having better luck closer to shore from what I could see. Anyone else been out this past week? Curious if it's any better up by Mahaning or if I should just keep working Clark.
I've been wanting to start fishing again, used to do it years ago before we moved here but I haven't picked up a rod since. Is Shenango the spot for a beginner or would you recommend somewhere smaller to start out? Don't want to embarrass myself out there with the serious guys lol.
Glad you got out. I've been telling myself I'll dust off the rod this weekend if the wind cooperates. Always ends up windier than the forecast says down at Shenango.
My husband would love this!! He used to fish Shenango all the time when he was younger. He keeps saying he's going to get back out there and never does. Maybe this will be the year! Glad you finally got a good day.
