There's a friendly little black cat hanging around our porch the last two days. Has a green collar with no tag. Looks well fed so somebody is missing her. We're on the Hermitage side near Buhl Park. If she's yours please reach out and I'll get her home. Otherwise we'll take her to the shelter end of the week.
oh the poor little thing... have you posted on the lost pets page for this area on FB too? that one usually gets a lot of eyes on it fast. so glad somebody nice caught her. fingers crossed her people are looking for her
That's kind of you to take her in. I'm not too far from Buhl Park, I'll keep an eye out for any "missing cat" posts going up around the neighborhood. Hopefully somebody is looking.
We are over on the other side of the park. I'll mention it to a couple of neighbors who walk that loop early in the mornings, sometimes that is enough to shake something loose. A vet office in town can scan for a chip if it comes to that. Hope she finds her way home soon.
Update. Nobody has claimed her yet. Brought her inside for the night since the weather is supposed to turn. She is the sweetest little thing, just curls right up. Going to call around to the vets in the morning to see if she has a chip. Will keep this updated
