I'm semi-retired and looking to stay busy doing something that matters. I help out at the food bank but I'm wondering what else is out there. Habitat for Humanity, the historical society, whatever. Especially looking for things during the week when most people are at work.
Ed this is so great! I've thought about volunteering more now that my grandkids are getting older. The food bank is a good one. My church does a community dinner once a month and they're always looking for help if that's something you'd be interested in.
This is great to see. My wife has been looking for something like this too — she retired last year and is still figuring out how to fill the days. Might look into the food bank option.
