I find myself doing this more lately. Pick a direction and just drive. The countryside this time of year is hard to beat. Last weekend we ended up out past Volant and stopped at a little place for pie. Where does everyone like to go for a slow Sunday drive? Hidden roads, scenic spots, places to stop along the way... share your favorites.
oh I love this thread... we usually head out 358 toward Volant when we want a pretty drive... all the farms and the little stands once they start opening back up. The road through Pymatuning is another one that never gets old either. Where do you usually end up?
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I'm going to try the route through Volant next weekend, never been all the way out there and now I'm hearing good things from a few of you. The country roads in this area really are something special this time of year.
we love going up 18 toward Mercer this time of year... so pretty when everything is greening up. and you can stop at Daffin's lol
