Welcome Tom! You are going to love it here once you really settle in. Buhl Park in Hermitage is wonderful in the summer (free concerts, the pool, walking trails, just a beautiful place). And don't miss the Mercer County Fair in August if you haven't been yet. People come from all over for that. So glad you found this site, it's been a great way to connect with neighbors!
Have you been to the ACTS Performing Arts Center? They do some really nice shows. Also the trail along the river in Sharon is beautiful once the weather turns.
Oh you need to come to Greenville!! The farmers market in the summer is wonderful. And Meet Me On Main Street is such a fun event, they do it several times a year. Also the Railroad Park and Museum if you like history at all. Lots of good little spots here that people drive past without stopping!
