I cannot believe it's already this weekend. My boys are coming home and I'm trying to keep it simple this year. We did the big brunch a few years and ended up so tired by the end I told them next year just bring me a card and a coffee... but here we are again ha. Anyway curious what people are doing... brunch out, big family meal at home, just a quiet day? Always love hearing about everyone's traditions.
First Mother's Day since I retired and honestly I have no idea what to do with myself. My kids are scattered and we usually just do phone calls. I might take myself to brunch this year. Is that weird? Probably not. Sounds nice actually.
we keep it simple too... daughter and grandkids come over for cake on saturday and church together sunday. nothing fancy. honestly the homemade cards from the kids are the best part anyway
I am team brunch out this year! 6 grandkids means I am NOT cooking lol. We do a brunch somewhere then everyone comes back to my house for an easy afternoon. The little ones love running around the yard and I love not being chained to the kitchen. Hope everyone has a good one ❤️
Boys are taking me to the breakfast at the church Sunday morning. Nothing fancy but I dont have to cook and I get to see everybody. Cant beat that
