Trying to plan for next weekend already lol... I always do the same things and want to mix it up this year. What's everyone bringing/making? I'm thinking maybe a pasta salad this year instead of potato salad... or do both? My husband says do both, he's no help. Also looking for a good dessert idea besides the usual.
do both!! lol you can never have too much salad at a cookout. I'm doing a strawberry pretzel salad this year because the grandkids requested it. Easy and they all eat it which is a miracle.
I always do a big pasta salad and my mom's baked beans!! The beans are the thing everyone asks for. I picked up strawberries at the farmers market Saturday so I'm making a shortcake too. What about hot dog buns... has anyone seen the Mancini's ones at the Greenville market yet? Those are my favorite for cookouts.
